Volunteering and Participation
Programme
What is the Volunteering and Participation Programme?
Our mission is to inform and raise awareness — especially among young people — so that volunteering becomes a way of life and civil society sensitivity grows across society. To do that we run a range of events and training courses.
These courses are built on learning by doing and by experience: in the short term they inform, in the medium term they build skills, and in the long term they aim to turn those skills into lasting behaviour and habits.

High School Volunteering Programme
We run a volunteering programme in cooperation with school managements and teachers, particularly in high schools following the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

Community Service Practice
We run an 8 to 14 week volunteering programme within the "community service practice" course taught at universities, above all in faculties of education.

Event Partnerships
We work together with public bodies, civil society and private sector organisations at the events they organise, and support them with our volunteers.
