What is Giving Tuesday?

#PaylaşmaGünü is the Turkish name of the #GivingTuesday campaign, which runs in more than 60 countries. First marked in Türkiye in 2020, the campaign is coordinated by the Third Sector Foundation of Türkiye (TÜSEV).

Giving Tuesday is a collective giving campaign: one day a year on which giving and volunteering are celebrated and encouraged. Individuals, civil society organisations, schools, companies and public and private institutions can all take part. It is a movement open to everyone.

It is marked on the first Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the height of the consumption rush. It is a day that puts sharing before buying.

Life is worth sharing

On #PaylaşmaGünü, held with the aim of a more generous and fairer world, everyone taking part can join a different kind of activity. Whatever the work, the aim is to create change through giving and volunteering.

What can we do together?

There is no single right contribution on Giving Tuesday. You can choose one of the following, combine them all in one campaign, or write to us with your own idea.
