Grow Through Play
We support equal opportunity in education through workshops and play-based learning activities for primary school age children in disadvantaged and rural areas.

The activities are planned in cooperation with schools, above all in rural areas, and are carried out by volunteers.
They cover workshops, school repairs, building libraries, toy support and help for families.
The workshops
A range of play workshops is held to support the education of primary and secondary school children and to help them socialise. The workshops aim to contribute to pupils' personal development, confidence and communication skills. The workshop plan is prepared with the opinion, training and support of specialists, and carried out by volunteers.

Other activities
Building libraries
Books and stationery to be sent to schools and pupils are received as donations and libraries are set up at the schools. Where there is no library, a plan is made once a suitable space is found.
Toy support
Toys that contribute to pupils' development and socialising are given as gifts from the Bursa Toy Library.
Support for families in need
Families at the schools where we run the project are supported through our partner and cooperating institutions.
Our goals
- To increase the number of social and educational activities children can join in their own localities
- To run activities that build pupils' confidence and communication skills
- To help children adopt universal values through non-formal learning methods
- To help children grasp the idea of volunteering from an early age
- To raise families' awareness of child development and children's rights
- To help children discover their talents and bring out their creativity
- To meet the needs of children who require help and bring them back into education
- To support equal opportunity in education in every circumstance and by every means
- To set an example of public–civil society cooperation in supporting education
- To help children become aware of living things and their environment
Where does it take place?
For now the activities run in primary schools in the Keles and Orhaneli districts of Bursa. The necessary permission and approval have been obtained from the relevant District Directorates of National Education. At each school the programme runs for 10 weeks with pupils in years 2, 3 and 4.
